We stopped at Buddy's for a late (8:30) dinner last night.
We had Florentine soup (soup du jour), French onion soup (a regular menu item), and a bacon cheddar burger with red potato salad.
The place was emptying quickly from folks having dinner at a respectable time. We were seated right away and service was prompt. Bread and zucchini rolls came along with our drinks (hot and iced teas).
The onion soup was baked with the cheese on top as indicated on the menu. I thought the topping was a bit too hard, but it wasn't burnt at all. I may just be used to use of a softer cheese. The soups were both good and served hot.
The burger was prepared as ordered (medium) with no red but still very soft and juicy.
We've been to Buddy's before under similar circumstances and our experience was good then. It remains on our 'dependable' list.
