Overall: Excellent, Food: Excellent, Service: Excellent, Atmosphere: Excellent, Cleanliness: Excellent
On a recent trip my wife and I both chose from the tasting menu. This is a five-course meal with small portions of items from the menu. You have two choices per course except there were more choices for the last (dessert) course.
We had:
Chilled Potato Kale Soup - Fish Feature - Smoked Pork Belly - Filet Mignon - Carrot Cake
and
Seared Ahi Salad - Diver Scallops - Smoked Pork Belly - Veal Tenderloin - Chocolat Cake
Rather than the wine pairings we shared a bottle of Ridge "Geyserville" Zinfandel.
I can find nothing negative to say about the food. Everything was excellent. The service was prompt and attentive. Our silverware was replaced between courses and water and wine were kept replenished.
The pianist came around before he started to see if there were any requests. After he left our table I commented that a Scott Joplin request would be out of place in such an elegant place, but he actually played some ragtime in the mix! I mentioned this on our way out and he played some Maple Leaf Rag.
We had arrived just ahead of a heavy storm and the valet had come toward us with umbrellas so we wouldn't be soaked. We had a large umbrella with us so didn't need it, but it's nice to know they provide this kind of service.
The large windows afforded a good view of the storms while we dined.
The tasting menu runs $65/person and the wine was $70. Their web site has their menus and wine list, though they are slightly outdated.
