Your eggs benedict are a far cry from the real stuff and your breakfast potatoes are dry, dry, dry. Your kitchen staff needs more training or your company menu needs to be updated to reflect what you are actually serving. Two thumbs down.

Great 3 times in a row (the speedway location)! All dishes have been excellent, quickly served with a smile and attentive service. Prices were the final suprise- reasonable! I will fill up my frequent diner card quickly if things stay this good.

I stopped in to The Good Egg for the first time for breakfast on a weekday morning. We were greeted and seated promptly. The waitress was by very quickly with menus and offered beverages.

The orange juice and coffee came quickly. I tried the juice (which was listed on the menu as freshly squeezed) and it was delicious with lots of pulp. A full carafe of coffee is served, which gets extra points from me as I drink a lot of coffee with breakfast and dislike waiting for refills.

Since we had never been there, we took a bit longer with the menu than usual. 'C' ordered one pancake with strawberries after finding out they were plate-sized and I ordered a country omlette (sausage, ham, bacon, and cheese).

The pancake was indeed the full size of the plate and very fluffy. It looked as though whole wheat flour was used, as the interior was darker than your standard fare. 'C' said it was very good.

The omlette has pretty huge also and comes with fried potatoes (cubed) and and English muffin. The eggs were cooked just right and had plenty of filling inside. The potatoes were also good. I liked having blackberry jam as a choice for the muffin just to have something different.

We had plenty of time for breakfast and relaxing before work and school, the food was good, service quick and friendly, and the restaurant clean and fairly quiet. We'll be back.
