We started going to Macayo's back in 1990 when we first moved to Tucson. The food and service used to be great. The last several times we have gone it's been progressively worse. I doubt we go again when we can get better food from one of many others

My wife and I ate at this restaurant last night and were extremely displeased with the overall experience. Waited exactly 43 minutes for our food and the place was pretty much dead.The food was HORRIBLE!Wife's plate was missing ordered food.

Have enjoyed eating at Macayo's for many years...the food is always delicious and the waiters are always attentive and professional.

Several of us started going to Macayos in 1994. It used to be a great restauarunt. The last three times we were there (June, July, and August 2007) We had poor service especially the last time. They have lost 6 longtime customers.

You pay $8.45 for a tortialla/Taco salad. It comes
out looking like a dinner salad really lame! All it
is a little lettuce,beef,corn..used to be a full
salad! RIPOFF RIPOFF! The assistant manager was
lame to. Didnt care about that it was terrible

Macayo's has gone downhill! We had been going here
for years. Their quality has gotten really bad!
They used to have a great Tortilla/Taco Salad that
was very generous portion! Went there last week
and the Tortilla/Taco salad was just pathetic

Three years ago the asst. manager came out and accused me of having stolen plates from there on a previous visit. I have no idea who she was mistaking me for but I have never in my whole life been so insulted by restaurant staff as when that happened

Only complaint I have is that they need an on-line menu for us to review. I have had food delivered (by others) and it cost me 15.00 just to have it driven to me.... The food is great, and they make quite nice dishes. Very good variety.

Good food; however, the worst service ever. The waitresses have no respect for the customers and if you try to complain to a manager, you get an even worst attitude.
