We went to Anthony's for a special occasion a few days ago.
We started with the Baby Lobster appetizer ($24 and plenty large enough to split). I normally don't care about lobster, but the way they prepare it is just so excellent we needed to order this.
Our entrees were the Mixed Grill (Lamb, Beef, and Shrimp - $40) and the Beef Crevettes (Beef tenderloin and Shrimp with a Bernaise sauce). Both were prepared exactly as ordered and were quite delicious.
To accompany dinner, we had a half bottle of '97 Merryvale Profile ($47). This is a very nice cabernet blend. It was served at a warmer temperature (probably mid to high sixties) than I'd like, but not so much as to request it be chilled a bit to get below 60 (which I'm sure they would graciously do).
We were both stuffed by this time and barely managed to split a Five Berry Tart ($9) for dessert.
All in all this was a quite satisfying experience. The food and the service were excellent. For special occasions where you don't mind spending $100+ apiece for dinner, Anthony's fits the bill.
