Mi Nidito has been a favorite of ours for quite a number of years. Since we were in the general vicinity this afternoon, we decided to stop by for lunch. Since they don't take reservations and are so popular, we did have to wait for a half-hour or so.

I had a Chile Colorado Chimichanga served enchilada-style with sour cream. They don't skimp on the extras here... my chimi had a generous portion of enchilada sauce and melted cheese on top and the sour cream was a true side-order portion. I've been charged a premium for a little scoop of sour cream at other restaurants. I also had a side-order of beans. I like they way they serve it with a bit of goat cheese sprinkled on top.

My wife had a cheese enchilada, birria taco, and a side of beans.

The meals were wonderful as always, and reasonably priced. The meals plus a Negra Modelo and a Pacifico came to about $24 plus tip.
