I like Fio Rito's and I've never been dissapointed by it. It looks a little shabby when you first pull up to it BUT, for me, this created a feeling of discovery- I felt like I had discovered a Tucson Gem that you had to be a local to know about.

the food is not up to par. people rave about it and there is nothing to rave about. Worst itallian food i ever ate. maybe it is tucson itallian not what we expected. clean up your act.

i ate at this restaurant the mariara sauce on the portabello ravioli was cold and had no taste. the place looked like an old night club with high prices. the only thing edible was the chicken dish. too expensive for this food

what a hole in the wall the front door looked like the back door to the kitchen. the parking was not lit up.The waitstaff was not friendly.

in october 8 of us went there. the food was horrible and they would not do anything about it. on the way out we told the waitress the food was not good she said that we had a problem and slammed the door on us.

the worst food and waitstaff i have ever experienced. the hotel recommended it and they will never recommend it again. the scallops were not even cooked

we went there on a sunday night. the wait staff was very rude and would not put two tables together. the waiter did not like that i wanted my dressing on the side. evertime we had a question he would roll his eyes. the food was cold and not cooked.

We had heard good things about Fiorito's, so were confident in a good visit when we stopped in tonight. We were terribly disappointed.

On entering from the rear parking lot (which looked like it would have been the kitchen door to me), there was nobody to greet us. Upon stepping a bit further into the restaurant, we were next to the bar. The host was at the bar talking to someone, and indicated that he would be with us shortly. After finishing his conversation, he came around to find he didn't have enough menus for the three of us (it wasn't crowded, so I don't know where the menus got off to). He pointed us to a table and we made our own way over as he found menus for us.

As we were looking over our menus, we had an opportunity to order drinks (which we declined, but it's good to have that option early if you want it).

Bread was brought to the table. I was puzzled why the bread was covered with a napkin as it was at room temperature and seemed a bit stale. Maybe, rather than keeping it warm, the napkin was hiding the ugly, plain bread which looked like a refugee from the end of an old Safeway loaf. There was no butter provided, but olive oil and basalmic vinegar was on the table so this wasn't a problem.

We ordered our meals. Salads arrived shortly thereafter. The greens were very fresh and crisp. The dressings were fine. We were forgetting about our poor greeting and the joke they called bread.

Grilled scallops with creamy risotto was a very attractive dish, well presented. The scallops were tasty, but the risotto was crunchy. The 'bean salad' served with the dish was three sugar-snap peas.

Cheese ravioli with a side order of meatballs (served on the plate as requested) also looked very nice. The ravioli and marinara sauce were, in face, tasty. The meatballs were dry and flavorless. No amount of marinara was going to save them.

Fettucini Alfredo with chicken was also a nice-looking plate, but there again the pasta and sauce made the grade, but the chicken, while plentiful, missed the mark.

While this tiny restaurant has a nice decor and friendly wait staff, it doesn't seem to have anything else going for it.
